What better way to commence a life long marriage than to join two families with a ritualistic ceremony? The Korean wedding tea ceremony, also known as the Paebaek ceremony involves the drinking of tea, other edibles such as dates and chestnuts, well wishes, and words of wisdom are spoken after the drinking of tea. This ceremony is especially sacred because it is one that honors both families coming together, rather than just the bride and groom individually. Thus, the families become eternally intertwined!
