Non-Traditional Escort Cards

Escort cards, while very functional, can also reflect your overall theme or a personal detail you want to share with your guests. Don’t overlook these little guys as you design your dream day. It can often be a challenge to decide on the little details for your wedding day. But consider going with a non-traditional escort card as something that will surprise and wow your guests. While the decision is ultimately yours, we LOVE the unique in events we plan. Whether it is a showpiece or favors, we thought we would share inspiration from some of our past weddings.

Elementary Loves
Everyone adores a beautiful love story, and what’s better than a couple that met in elementary school. Their theme embodied that moment they first met and fell in love – grade school. From “grades” instead of table numbers to pencils with guests’ names in alphabet cards, we think this is an “A+” use of a fun favor in place of standard escort cards.

Magic Mirrors
An elegant mirror paired with scripty calligraphy can be used to let your guests know which table to head to. We suggest finding an ornate frame that corresponds with your color scheme. If you don’t have a calligraphist or are worried that it may rub off, vinyl decals are the perfect solution! Talk about an impact moment!

Provide a glass or bottle of bubbly for your attendees to toast your big day! Personalized glasses, acrylic stirrers or mini bottles are a sure-fire hit! Bottoms up!

Create a colorful display featuring your color palette. Incorporate florals from centerpieces to tie it all together. Similar to a large mirror showpiece, a colorful display will be a major talking point during cocktail hour and is sure to attract your guests’ attention.
