AN INTERTWINED EVENT: SUPER PERSONALIZED PELICAN HILL WEDDING

This amazing weddingwas held at the beautiful Pelican HillResortin Newport Coast. The couple’sday was filled with tons ofpersonal touches.The wedding was themed: “The Story of Us”. Leading from the entrance down to the ceremony site, were storyboards which explainedwhere they were each born, what city they met in, where they were reunited, where they were engaged and then the last one said “And the Story Continues…” which was placed right at the start to the ceremony lawn. During cocktail hour, the storyboards were flipped and the guests were served different appetizers and drinks that corresponded with each of the cities.

The Delicious and Unique Menus included:

• San Francisco: Turkey Sandwiches with Special Mayo from their favorite deli

• Chicago: Mini Hot Dogs

• Davis: Wiki Wacky Woos (A Specialty, and very alcoholic, drink from a favorite local bar)

• Gainesville: Pulled Pork on a Corn Cake

• Ireland: Guiness Battered Cod

• Orange County: Carne Asada Tacos

So cute!! They wanted to do something a little different than your typical guest book so her mom came up with the idea to put together a quilt after the wedding. They made a 9 panel “quilt” in advance as a sample and had all the quilt squares prepared in advance. The quilt will be put together by her mom after the wedding for the couple to have in their home for years and years!

During the reception, the table numbers represented something significant in their lives like how many miles they lived apart, how many miles guests flew in total to get their, how many days they have been dating, how many years their dog has been alive, etc. Later in the eveningguests were surprised ascover band, Knyght Ryder came out and helped them dance the night away!
