Yesterday, we discussed the power of uplighting to transform a room. Next step… upgrade your linens and chairs.Think about it, these items make up the majority of your ballroom! Using a chivari or custom design chair over the standard conference chairs makes a huge impact as you are able to utilize the right colors, styles and materials to compliment your wedding theme. Linens are the same story – upgrading to an iridescent linen, patterned runner, or texturized fabric can take your wedding from run-of-the-mill to over the top without spending like it is!

Now, here is where you can save!Items like chargers, programs, and menus do not take up the same space and thus lack the overall impact and can be sacrificed.Chargers can rent anywhere from $1-5a pieceand are only on the table until the first course is served; paper goods look beautiful but are typically left behind or taken home and thrown away! When thinking big spend, think big picture. What will give the biggest impact and that should receive the larger portion of the budget.
