Happiness is…CHRISTMAS IN JULY!

This week K. and I have been at ReCreation Camp, a non-profit camp we direct for adults and children with disabilities. It is hands down the best week of the year, EVERY YEAR! We pick a different theme for camp each year to plan the events and activities around and, this year’s theme – “Where everyday is like Christmas morning!”

We decided that one of the happiest times for all of us is Christmas morning – the magic of Santa, the special moments shared with loved ones, and the inextricable joy of giving and getting presents! So, why can’t we have that same happiness in the middle of summer – or everyday for that matter! What a gift! For the last week, K. and I were blessed to celebrate one of the best holidays of the year with the very best people we know. Happiness is…Christmas in July at ReCreation Camp.
