Memorable Monday: Romantic Getaway #2 Santa Barbara

As we work our way down the coast stopping off at our favorite romantic getaways, we must encourage you to plan a stay in Santa Barbara. This coastal town has a bit of everything from beaches to dining, shopping to wineries and just 2 hours outside of LA is the perfect short-distance, anytime escape!

Where to Stay:
We love the Canary Hotel. Super cute with the upgraded luxuries of a boutique hotel. And the hardwood floors and 4-poster beds make it oh-so-romantic for you and your honey. Be sure to grab a drink and the hotel bar – we loved it there! Located walking distance from State St. in the heart of Santa Barbara you are in the center of great boutiques for window shopping (or more!) and coffee shops for brunch – once you eventually roll out of bed (wink, wink).

Where to Drink:
You MUST spend a day up at the Santa Ynez Wineries. Just a short drive outside the city (we recommend hiring a car for the day – safety first!) and enjoying not only the beautiful scenery but the yummy varietals!

Where to Play:
During the day, go down to the beach and get that tan on – Rincon is not only a local favorite but is internationally known for its great surf! And of course, what’s a good vacay without an excuse to get dressed up and let loose! To drink and dance the night away, EOS Lounge is a must! They have a great outdoor patio space with fire places and booths to enjoy the cool California coastal night air, too!
