Spotlight on the Sofre Aghd

As posted previously, I was very excited to coordinate my first Persian/American wedding…and specifically, I was interested to see and learn more about the Sofre Aghd.

Well, I loved the sofre Party Organization coordinated for this event! Look at all the details that are included! The bride and groom sit on a bench facing the Sofre throughout the Persian ceremony – ideally, they will look into the mirror and all the guests who are sitting behind them, can see the bride and groom through the mirror. I love all the customs and traditions incorporated into this spread…
