Wedding Wednesday: Sweet as Pie – Party Favors!

A good fried was over for an impromptu dinner party a couple weeks ago and we were discussing what we each had done for or with our moms for Mother’s Day. My mom and I had a slumber party, another had sent flowers and a pictures of the family she had taken but Amanda, she, most definitely took the cake, (or in this case the pie) as she made each of her mom, mother-in-law, grandmas (oh you get the picture) a pie in a jar in a vintage mason jar she had found at a local flea market. Yep, pie in a jar!
Pie in a Jar as party favors! I couldn’t resist! She found the awesome recipe and instructions on Our Best Bites! This would be so cute as a party favor for a small outdoor summer wedding or your 4th of July parties. What is more American than pie and your guests can take it home and bake it whenever they have that sweet tooth!
