AN INTERTWINED EVENT: A LAGUNA BEACH WEDDING MADE WITH LOVE!

While all weddings are about the love of two people, some weddings are so filled with love it can take your breath away. The Laguna Beach wedding of Jeanne and David was overflowing with pure, unadulterated, can’t stop smiling, true love! Everyone in attendance could just feel it in the air! And it didn’t hurt that air was warm and smelled of the sea, as the ceremony and reception over looked a glistening ocean at the Pacific Edge hotel!

This couple’s love story is not standard by any means. They both took different journeys to one another, but a million miles away from it all, they met in a foreign country, while traveling for work, and fell madly in love. One living in California, the other in Michigan, it was not easy to choose one another. But every day, every week, every month after that first meeting, they did. And isn’t that what marriage is all about – waking up every day and choosing the one you love! Oh boy, did they make the correct choice! They make each other glow. They make each other better. And all of us are better for being around them!

A second wedding for them both, this time it is was just so right. They wanted to keep the affair simple and meaningful… a marriage more than a wedding. They were surrounded by just a couple dozen of their closet friends and family. No wedding party needed, as all the guests stood witness to their union. Best friends from coast to coast gathered over the water to hoot and holler as they said I do!

As the sun was setting, in a sherbet colored sky, Jeanne and David committed their lives to one another. And we all celebrated! Guests were treated to a delicious taco bar and signature drinks. The Bride’s best friends provided the funfetti cakes – a tradition of celebration for the group of gals from USC, spanning a decade. No birthday, graduation, holiday or “just because” trip has been without their funfetti cakes! Jeanne’s wedding was no different! Everyone ate, drank and was merry because Jeanne and David got married!!

Thank you, Jeanne and David, for allowing us to be a part of such a beautiful day. Because of you, we all fell more in love with love!
