Kallie Dovel, the founder of this company, traveled to Uganda years ago and took a tremendous interest in the Ugandan women who made beautiful jewelry, yet had no place to sell it for what its worth. Kallie started 31 Bits by selecting six women from Uganda to design and create the jewelry for her organization, while also bringing on a few friends to market and sell the jewelry. Since then, 31 Bits has truly taken off with almost 100 women from Uganda designing the jewelry. The Ugandan women are a true inspiration with a creative talent that will make you swoon! While browsing the site, we obviously gravitated towards the section titled “The Wedding Shop.” The gorgeous white beaded jewelry with hints of gold would be amazing to wear on your big day.
