Red Horse Barn Wedding

The real wedding of Amber and Matt was held at the Red Horse Barn in Huntington Beach. This venue served as the perfect place for this adorable couple to get married as Amber wanted her wedding to be natural yet elegant; I loved the idea of natural tones with lots of candles and lace to add something special. The venue also allowed for the perfect display of details that were uniquely Amber and Matt, I loved our comfort food menu [mac-n-cheese included!], the natural setting and feel of the reception, and the little details like Matt’s camo grooms cake and our beer koozie favors. We tried to make it as much “us” as we could – just easy going and fun-loving and that’s exactly what it turned out to be.

Bride’s advice: My advice is to start planning early. It’s never too early!!! You will hear it again and again…and again but don’t forget to enjoy every moment. I made myself sit back and take it all in because it goes by SOOOO fast – my favorite wedding moment was saying our vows. I felt tingling/butterflies in my stomach when I was saying them, staring into Matt’s eyes. It was an amazing feeling! Just remember the reason for the day, everyone is going to have a fun time and remember that they are there for you. It was so awesome to have all our friends and family in one place. There’s really no other time that will ever happen again in our lifetime.

Groom’s Advice: Let the bride plan it how she wants it and be there when she needs you. She’s been dreaming of this day her whole life and knows exactly how she wants it. Seeing her light up when she sees it all come to life is a great feeling.
