We typically envision hard wood floors, tile back splashes, shiny stainless stealand clean lines within a modern day kitchen. Think outside the box, and anything can turn into inspiration for your wedding day!
Together with some of our favorite vendors in the industry, we partnered to create a styled shoot that was inspired by a modern day kitchen, but executed in a way that was classic, a little sassy, and had a whole lot of personality!
Thanks to the wonderful ladies atWedding Chicksfor featuring this shoot today!!
Ashley from APictureLife Photography captured these amazing images from the shoot and we couldn’t have been happier with the final product. She knows how to bring out the best from those she is shooting while still capturing the details flawlessly!
Erica from10.11 Makeup styled Jessica to be a beautiful bride. We loved her relaxed braided hair that really played off her personality. We had a blast working with Erica and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for that perfect wedding day look!
Erica from
Erica O’Brien Cake Design created 3 cakes inspired by a pillow from Etsy and a sunburst mirror! Check out this display – it’s unique, bold and something everyonewill remember.
?When we were talking about invitations, we knew we wanted a little bit rustic look, but also wanted to incorporate color and texture. Jenna from
Better2Gether Designs hit the nail on the head with how she incorporated wood patterened paper, purple cardstock and used purple eyeshadow to really give the paper the old look we wanted….everything turned out perfect!
For the favors, we wanted to incorporate the sunburst mirror which we played up throughout the shoot. We gave everyone a mini sunburst mirror of their own as a keepsake.
I can’t say enough good things about Jaclyne from
Heavenly Blooms Designs! She really went above and beyond in ensuring she captured our vision and helped to play up all the elements within our theme. The table display, bouquet and boutonniere were PERFECT because of all her hard work and efforts!
For the table design, we used pieces of tile from a typical backsplash and ran it down the middle of the table. I loved the way it looked against the stainless silver containers and organic textures from the balsa and beach wood!
Last but certainly not least, we have to thank the beautiful models and those that made them look so good! Courtney from
Courtney Yagerman Fashion Styling was the brains behind styling our brides jewelry, clothing for the day and shoes. She looked stunning thanks to Courtney! The brides dress came from Eva over at
The Wedding Pantry – Eva knows how to find anything and everything you need to plan your wedding! She is the websters dictionary of the bridal industry!! And of course, we can’t forget the amazingly talented
Tessa Kim for the bride’s hairpiece…stunning. Our grooms clothing came from
Express.
