Memorable Monday: Inspired by Stella and Dot

I truly believe that you can gain inspiration for your wedding or special event from anywhere. Whatever moves you, makes you take a second glance or stays on your mind for days could be the stepping stone to your event!

One of my favorite blogs, TomKat Studio, posted a blog about Stella and Dotand a fundraiser her friend was doing for a family who recently lost their baby daughter to SIDs. After seeing a few of the sneak peak images Kim posted on her blog, I jumped right over to Stella and Dot to see more.

Within moments, I came across the Happy Flowers Necklace and fell in love. I knew immediately that 1.) I needed that necklace and 2.) it would be an amazing starting point for a wedding inspiration board.

I’m truly inspired by this look and hope to bring it to a life in an editorial shoot later this summer. The complimentary colors (coral, royal green and tiffany blue) are so vibrant, unique as a group and bright that you can’t go wrong pairing these three together.

I encourage you to really look at the things in your life that are at the top of the your mind – those things are what help to make a wedding your own and one you will love, no matter how much time passes.
