Memorable Monday: Inspired by the 2010 Emmy’s

Although I have to admit that I changed the channel to Entourage and True Blood in place of the Emmy’s, I immediately went to People.com this morning to see what all the stars were wearing last night! I believe there is so much inspiration for the year that comes from award shows…from interior design, to day-wear to wedding style, so much is molded from these runway looks.

I would say “best dressed” has to go to Lea Michele…this dress is stunning! Claire Danes was also styling on the carpet…to me, her simplicity is what stood out to me. She may have had one sparkly dress on, but it wasn’t overdone with simple makeup, hair and jewelry.

Eva Longoria Parker is always beautiful and this look did not disappoint. January Jones also had a dress that turned heads…although I know it’s a daring look, and one many will hate, it stood out to me among the others. I believe the risk of the bold cobalt blue really paid off!

Although this is not the typical dress I would choose, for some reasonDianna Agron’s gownstruck me as unique and beautiful…I could even see a bold bride walking down the aisle in this look!

Thanks to another fantastic red carpet for providing so much inspiration for the year to come!
