An Immersive Luncheon Inspired by the Heart of Los Angeles

Created in partnership with Patina Catering, our Love Letter to LA Luncheon was a celebration of the neighborhoods, flavors, culture and soul that make Los Angeles unlike anywhere else. With the DTLA skyline as our backdrop at Cityview Penthouse, guests were invited to experience the many sides of the city through an afternoon filled with creativity, connection and a shared appreciation for the place we call home.

In collaboration with an extraordinary group of vendor partners, each space transformed the luncheon into an immersive journey through Los Angeles. Inspired by some of the city’s most iconic neighborhoods and eras, every installation reflected its own distinct character through texture, color, culture and design.

Enso Creative Team brought the energy of the Arts District indoors with bold hues, graffiti-inspired artwork and a spray-paint wall that paid homage to the neighborhood’s ever-present creative spirit. 1111 Event Productions transported guests to the Golden Age of Hollywood, where flowing drapery, timeless black-and-white checkerboard flooring and vintage-inspired details captured the glamour of classic cinema.

The journey continued west with Three Petals Design, who created a serene oceanside escape inspired by rolling waves and the warm hues of a California sunset. Modest Peach brought Beverly Hills to life with an elegant installation reminiscent of an iconic hotel lobby, complete with a classic pink Cadillac and all the charm of a drive down palm tree-lined streets.

The details extended beyond each immersive space. Guests were invited to stop, smile and snap a memory in front of a vibrant backdrop and balloon installation by Mark & Crafts, while custom “I ❤️LA” ice cubes and a striking ice sculpture from Ice Bulb added another playful nod to the city throughout the experience.

Of course, at the heart of the luncheon was the opportunity to gather around the table. Together with Patina Catering, we celebrated the creativity and community that make Los Angeles so special, surrounded by an incredible group of industry professionals who helped bring the day to life.

From the immersive installations to the smallest finishing touches, every detail was a reflection of LA’s ability to inspire, reinvent and bring together people from every corner of the city. A Love Letter to LA was more than a luncheon—it was a celebration of the places, people and creative spirit that continue to make the City of Angels one of a kind.
