Rooftop Garden Wedding in Charming Downtown Santa Barbara

From the very beginning, Jenni and Joey dreamed of a wedding that felt like an elevated garden party with a relaxed, coastal vibe—and designing it alongside them was such a joy! Their wedding day at The Hotel Californian began with a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by lush greenery and soft blooms, set against the classic white stucco and terracotta backdrop that makes Santa Barbara so special. The ceremony space was intentionally kept minimal and romantic, allowing the couple and their vows to take center stage!

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed onto the lawn for cocktail hour, where a gorgeous statement bar, bistro tables and light floral touches created an inviting, sun-soaked atmosphere. Signature drinks and personal photos added a touch of charm, setting the tone for the evening ahead.

The celebration moved to the rooftop for dinner and dancing just in time for golden hour! Round tables were dressed in airy linens and adorned with soft blush and peach florals, surrounded by warm wood chairs to keep the look fresh and organic. Overhead cafe lights twinkled as guests enjoyed the most stunning sunset views. Bringing Jenni and Joey’s vision of a romantic, coastal celebration to life was such a dream!
