AN INTERTWINED EVENT: AMERICANA WEDDING AT THE RICHARD NIXON LIBRARY

When a couple who both serve our country get married, patriotism is the perfect theme for their nuptials – especially when they are having an Americana weddingat the Richard Nixon Library. With American flag pillows on vintage furniture and a trunk-turned-table to represent their travels, Jean and Jim’s wedding was one we can all salute!

Jean and Jim both serve in the military and wanted to be sure that their dedication to the American spirit was displayed throughout their special day. From a red and white striped pattern down the aisle symbolizing the American flag to a full array of red, white and blue, their pride in our country shined bright during the entire wedding.

While the couple has pride for the country they live in, Jean also has pride for her heritage. During the course of the day, she had multiple outfit changes. From a ballgown for the ceremony, a sexier style for the reception, and traditional Korean outfit for the cake cutting and desserts, she looked stunning in each new outfit. The last dress change was the most important to her parents, and Jim even participated in the outfit change!

A VERY unique aspect of their wedding was the trust they had in their vendor team. Jean was first introduced to us while she was serving overseas in Afghanistan. As she was away for weeks at a time while out on missions, Jean relied on Intertwined to work with her vendors to do bring her visions to life.

We could not be more honored to have helped this couple say “I Do!” And we thank them for their service and sacrifice for all of us!
