GET INSPIRED – BABY SHOWER PARTY THEMES

We love weddings, but oh boy do we love babies! With Meghan’s two little ones on the way, we have some serious baby fever at Intertwined! With that in mind, we thought we would share some of our favorite Baby Shower Party themes with you.

There are a couple details to consider when selecting the perfect theme. First, will it be a gender specific or gender neutral party? Determining this will help you select a color palette that coordinates. Second, what would the soon to be mama really love. If she is sporty or a glam gal this will lead you in the right direction. And, lastly, what does the family really need? Are they having multiples and need some serious diapers – consider adding in a diaper drive to the event. Or, do they already have small children, and signs ups for meal drop off would be a godsend. Keeping these three factors in mind will help you find the perfect way to celebrate that super special lil bundle of joy on its way to this world!

For a gender specific party, say a little baby girl, we love letting color dictate the day. This Pink Ombre baby shower was perfectly girly and fabulously frilly. The mom is a dancer so ballerina pink for her little girl was a must!

Going more toward a gender neutral event for a carefree and fun mom? Consider this Monkeying Around baby shower theme. We love that the decor of stuffed monkeys, blocks and onsies can help fill up the Nursery with sweet decor.

And, as far as we are concerned anyone who is pregnant deserves a day of pampering with her fave friends and family! Replace traditional baby shower games with glam & go stations like mini manicures, lips and lashes, and massages. Everyone will leave feeling restored and rested and ready for what lies ahead.
