Salud! We are so excited to tell you all about the amazing Muckenthaler Mansion wedding of Marisa and Ryan! They are the sweetest couple! There are endless details to showcase! And…. We have known Marisa since she was a teen and have had the wonderful opportunity to watch her blossom into the most gracious, gorgeous and successful of women! Sit down, pour a glass of sangria and enjoy this stunning Spanish style wedding with us!
Once, Marisa and Ryan decided on the Muckenthaler Mansion the planning was a dream from there! The bride really fell in love with the Spanish concept and allowed us to run with it. She loved playing with color, something we are not seeing a lot of these days with weddings trending toward neutral and blush palettes. Playing off the stunning venue, bright colors and patterns were incorporated throughout the design of the entire event.
Guests were greeted with, of course, copas de sangria to get the party started! A mariachi band serenaded guests during cocktail hour as all stayed cool from the summer heat with custom fans adorned with the couples name and wedding date! This was no ordinary cocktail reception either. Custom Mr. & Mrs. Corn Hole Games and a Jenga Guest Book (created by the Bride’s Grandfather) among other lawn games gave the wedding a fun and festive feel from the get-go.
Details make the day! Marisa and Ryan wanted to make sure their guests knew their love story was one part spicy and one part sweet! So that is exactly what they treated them with – a bottle of Tapatio and a cookie made for the perfect party favors!
Continuing to wow their guests, the typical escort card just would not do. To direct wedding goers to their seats, calligraphy chalkboard seating assignments were created. Marisa’s mom collected all different chalk boards and they were grouped together in a beautiful display showing guests just where to go!
A beautiful floral pattern was repeated throughout each and every design element, from the unique invitation suite, the lush floral designs to the custom cake and the jaw-dropping dance floor! So let’s talk about the custom cake with its laser cut gold acrylic topper with the couple’s names. And if that was not enough to quell a sweet tooth, there was a late night station, of course, Churros con Chocolate, to complete this perfect Spanish soiree!
We were so excited when Marisa got engaged and even more honored when she asked us to help plan her special day. We first met Marisa when she interned for Meghan at the City of Anaheim years ago! For the past, almost 5 years, Marisa has been one of our favorite corporate clients, and now to see her fall in love, get engaged and get married – we are just so enamored and lucky to experience all the many times of Marisa’s life with her and celebrate this important day! She is AMAZING and truly deserves all the love and happiness in the world and we know Ryan will give her just that! Congratulations you two!
Thank you to the fabulous vendors who helped make the day possible!
