We had such a wonderful time planning Marisa and Jason’s violet inspired Serra Plaza wedding. Weddings are special occasions, especially when they are a full family affair. It was adorable how involved Jason’s children were and how they held a unique place in the entire day’s events.
Jason’s son was the best man and daughter was a junior bridesmaid. From the exchanging of vows to the cake cutting, the children were central toall the wedding as they are to the couple. We adored the love shared between all, and especially the idea of the entire new family participating in a sand ceremony. As a marriage is a union of the couple, it is also a union of two families becoming one.
Serra Plaza weddings are known for being out under the beautiful Southern California sky. The gorgeous outdoor space of Serra Plaza had a mix of long, family-style tables and rounds. Each table had different photos of the couple for guests to enjoy. Stunning blends of purple and violet florals in rustic boxes adorned each table. Chandeliers, café lights, and votive candles added a romantic ambiance to the reception.
Katie went to high school at Rosary with Marisa, and was thrilled that her long-time friend was able to find the love of her life. We are so happy for them and this new chapter in their lives.
A HUGE thank you to our awesome vendors:
