At Intertwined, we LOVE what we do. Planning events is our passion. And, we love even more when the events we help create, help others, too! One of our favorite clients, The Salvation Army, held their annual National Advisory Board summit last month. Members and staff from across the nation convened in beautiful Newport Beach, CA at the Island Hotel to learn more about The Salvation Army’s efforts and impact in Orange County.
Kicking off the weekend of events was a CEO Breakfast for locals and National Advisory Board members to meet.
Keynote speaker, Charlotte Jones Anderson of the Dallas Cowboys stole the show! Her charismatic demeanor and personal account of how she and the Cowboys came to be involved with and supporters of the Army was out of this world. She is one of the best public speakers and advocates we have ever met! Can you say #WCW!
The summit concluded with a dinner at the Anaheim Red Shield – a community center supporting a wide array of activities including daycare, after school programs, swimming lessons and choir, just to name a few! Those that have been touched and assisted by The Salvation Army joined the dinner and told their story of how The Army truly saved their lives. It was inspiring and so motivating!
We are so blessed to get the opportunity to do what we love, every day. We are even more blessed when we can assist incredible organizations to do so much good, for so many. Thank you to The Salvation Army for all you do in our communities and allowing us to be a small part of it.
