AN INTERTWINED EVENT: SEGERSTROM CONCERT HALL WEDDING

In a wedding world where some bridesstrive for thebiggest, brightest most over-the-top production with more details and amenties than there are guests – Cassie and Peter’s classy Segerstrom Concert Hall Weddingwas the exact opposite. Cassie and Peter wanted a wedding that went back to the roots of a simply stunning and lovely event solely based around the uniting of two individuals and families.

Their wedding inspiration was the venue itself, they chose to get married at The Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, not only a landmark in Orange County but also an extremely exclusive venue that only does ten weddings a year. The bride chose bright blues, greens, and pinks to really pop against the modern backdrop of the concert hall.

The personal details that were included were the use of tulips, Cassie’s absolute favorite flower, and the favors were homemade waffle cookies – a family tradition. Her grandparents made all the favors themselves!

Advice from the bride: I would recommend starting to look for a wedding venue and setting a date as soon as possible. You can wait a bit on selecting your vendors, but you want to make sure you get the perfect venue for your wedding. Also, the photographer is especially important because your pictures are the memories that are going to last forever.

Advice from the groom: Figure out what is important to you and your family and make that a priority. For example, it was important for our families and us and that we get married in a Catholic church, so we made that our first priority.

Cassie and Peter’s favorite part of being married now: We love living together. We didn’t live together before we got married, so it is so nice to have a place of our own where we can make a home together. We also love looking back at all the beautiful pictures from our wedding day!
