WELCOME BAGS FOR YOUR WEDDING GUESTS

Are you having a destination wedding or inviting quite a few out of town guests to your big day? Consider greeting all of your guests upon arrival with a Welcome Bag at their hotel! What a treat! Your guests will feel so cherished and appreciated for taking time off and spending additional funds to celebrate your nuptials.

As for the logistics, speak with the hotel concierge or group sales coordinator where you set up your room blocks to see if there is a storage and delivery fee and how they can help coordinate your delivery. There are usually two options available. You can decide to have the bags at the front desk for each guest when they check in, or you can have the bags delivered directly to their room so they are already inside when they get there! (Hint: Your wedding planner can assist with this – just ask!)

Now, on to the fun part – what to include in the welcome bags! There are a number of ways you can decide what to include, but the best goodies are those that are personalized for your guests and shares a bit about the local. If you are in a coastal or tropical setting, sunglasses, water bottles with custom labels, sunscreen and flip-flops would be just the ticket! Up in wine country? Well then personalized wine glasses, a stopper and wine bottle opener would be lovely – and probably well used. Help out your guests with morning after cures of salty snacks, a sports drink, some aspirin and directions to your favorite greasy diner for the perfect brunch!
