AN INTERTWINED EVENT: COLLEGE SWEETHEARTS’ PELICAN HILL WEDDING

There is nothing more special than college sweethearts getting married, especially when it’s a Pelican Hill Wedding! Ellen and Adam are your dream couple – college sweethearts who happen to be two of the sweetest people you will ever encounter. Jumping feet first into the next chapter of their lives together as husband and wife, Ellen and Adam wanted a day that was sothem!

Everyguest in the room wasbeaming from ear to ear as they celebrated the couple in everything they did. The guests at this wedding took this celebration to a whole new level – dancing, cheering, and falling in love all over again! You could feel the love radiating through the room and couldn’t help but smile and laugh right along with everyone!

The couple wanted to emphasize and simply enhance the beauty that is Pelican Hill resort. Keeping in tune with the light shade of wood, we incorporated vintage furniture, an abundance of candlelight, lanterns and soft florals . Their simplistic and curated style set the tone for all of the design details. From the furniture rentals to the brides dress, everything embraced thenaturalbeauty with a vintage flair.

Lounge vignettes throughout the outdoor area and ballroom, tons of lanterns, and amazing paper goods with gold foil brought a cool vintage feel to the day’s celebration. The focal point of the room, however, was their gorgeous head table! Using 3 wood tables linedwith customchairs and a love seat for the couple, all eyes were definitely on them.

Instead of the traditional multi-level caked, Ellen and Adam opted for three different sized and textured cakes! To make sure it stood out and made a visual impact, the cake table had an eclectic feel with the variation of cakes and candlelight.

From the first phone call with the bride’s mother to the first time we met Adam and Ellen, we knew we were blessed to call them clients! We wish you both a happy and prosperous future! Congrats again on your marriage, gorgeous Pelican Hill wedding and new journey together!
