Good food, good company and good times. We all have so much to be thankful for each and every day and Thanksgiving is the perfect time to reflect on those things. It’s a time to celebrate another year while surrounded by loved ones and of course some delicious food. Hosting Thanksgiving dinner can seem stressful and overwhelming. Before you throw in the towel, remember that hosting can actually be fun, that’s right FUN! With a positive attitude and a bit of planning ahead, you can host a stress-free, fun Thanksgiving. Rather than focusing on every little detail to host the “perfect” Thanksgiving meal, spend time focusing on the meaning of the day. We all have such crazy and wild schedules all year that it’s easy to lose sight of what’s important and to forget how blessed our lives are. Try setting the table the night before and preparing ahead of time step-by-step, that way you are not overwhelmed the day the guests arrive. At the end of the day, Thanksgiving is about being thankful. A time to surround ourselves with the ones we love and eat food until we fall asleep! Enjoy the time you have to spend with those you love and GIVE THANKS!
