Rich, deep and romantic! Deep hues are perfect for fall and winter weddings. Choosing dark and dramatic color schemes can give your wedding a graceful touch of elegance.
Copper, red, burgundy, forest green and rusty orange are quintessential colors for fall and winter. They are sure to bring warmth to the cool winter air. Plums, navy and of course black give a luxe feel to any event! Lush, richly colored floral arrangements with an added touch of texture will tie in perfectly to the color scheme.
Balance out brighter colors with deep hues to create a lovely mix of color. Mixing lighter and brighter colors in with the dark colors will keep the wedding fresh and vibrant. This is a great way to keep the deeper hues from looking muggy.
Bridesmaid dresses can bring a wedding to life with just the right color. Use deep hues to match with a darker color pallet. You can always accessorize a nude or blush dress with deep jewels! Groom and groomsmen will look amazing in a classic dark tux or with a lighter tuxedo mixed with a tie or pocket square in a romantic, deep color. Use lighter understated tones like copper and gold to provide fresh touches.
No matter the color, we love the way deeper hues add dramatics to wedding day design! What is your favorite darker shade?
