AN INTERTWINED EVENT: A EXTRAVAGANT MET GALA-INSPIRED WEDDING AT VIBIANA LOS ANGELES

Elena and Jonny came to us with the 2018 Met Gala, Heavenly Bodies inspiration for their wedding and we knew this design was going to be magical! With Catholic iconography, vintage aesthetic and fashion influence, the bride was not only creative but open to our ideas. The result? A collaborative one-of-a-kind design! These high school sweethearts were incredibly kind and so much fun to plan with! They legally got married in 2020 and wanted to throw an epic celebration and party at Vibiana… and we did just that! This design included an iconic red-carpet aisle, a stunning Catholic alter by Modest Peach adorned by dramatic florals from Inessa Nichols Design, and gorgeous hues of deep red and gold throughout. Additionally, we incorporated living statues during cocktail hour, a confessional booth during the reception and many more fun surprises for the guests. Crazy to think this weekend will mark their one-year anniversary of this iconic couple and celebration!
