A PARISIAN-INSPIRED 40TH BIRTHDAY GARDEN SOIRÉE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Turning 40 never looked so fabulous! We had the pleasure of transforming a stunning Southern California home into a dreamy, Parisian-inspired garden party for our client’s 40th birthday. Our goal was to blend French elegance with the relaxed charm of a spring garden—bringing la vie douce to every detail of the celebration.

This event was made even more meaningful by the fact that it was a surprise, lovingly planned by Bre’s father. He wanted to make her feel celebrated, cherished, and deeply loved on her special day—and it was an honor to help bring that vision to life.

The design concept revolved around a soft, romantic palette of blush, ivory, lavender, and lush greenery. We layered these tones throughout floral installations that flowed over tables, framed custom structures, and trailed across the garden setting. One of the standout focal points was a café-style booth crafted by Modest Peach. Wrapped in fresh florals and framed by a whimsical fringe chandelier, this installation was an instant photo-worthy moment!

To complement the garden aesthetic, we curated elevated and interactive food and beverage stations that offered both visual appeal and indulgent flavors. The grazing table by Honey and Hive was a true showstopper, overflowing with artisan cheeses, fresh fruits, charcuterie, figs, honeycomb, and edible flowers. For a custom café experience, guests visited our La Vie Douce coffee bar by The Cappuccino Man, where cappuccinos were topped with custom foam art and garnished with fresh flowers.

This Parisian-garden soirée was a beautiful expression of refined celebration. From thoughtfully curated florals to flavorful bites and picturesque vignettes, every element was designed to reflect the joy, style, and sophistication of turning 40—proving that life truly is sweet!
