All good things Summer and America are depicted in the movie The Sandlot. Best Friends. Hot summer days. Pick-up baseball games. Block parties. Bad carnival rides. Grilled food. First kisses. A challenge and then the sweet sensation of VICTORY! No matter how old I get, every time I watch this movie I am transported back to my youthful summer days and am instantly happy.
What takes you back in time to your happiest moments?

I’m so glad that you mentioned that brides will be happy no matter what our bridesmaids give us…because their time, energy, and patience is gift enough! I am registered with MyRegistry.com, and I know that my bridesmaids all planned on chipping in for the luggage that I had on my registry from Luggage.com. But I quickly put a stop to that! I am well aware of how expensive it is to be a bridesmaid. You have to pay for the shower, bachelorette, dress, shoes, hair, make-up….it’s really an expensive responsibility. Just my girls’ participation is the greatest gift they could give me!
