AN INTERTWINED EVENT: FLOWERED IN LOVE AT SERRA PLAZA

With sweet flowers on every corner, Ashley and Omead had the time of their lives at their unique, vintage inspired wedding. Serra Plaza includes antique elements, and the bride wanted an inimitable affair! To incorporate her love of the outdoors, DIY elements were used to personalize anything and everything for their big day.

Ashley wanted nothing more than to marry her college sweetheart and have a perfect day to remember. She tirelessly worked to put all of the details together to unify their two different families. The adoring couple combined their two different religions and ethnicities into their big day. Two ceremonies – a Catholic mass and Persian ceremony, complete with a custom Sofreh Aghd – united the two families.

Having shared their first “I Love You’s” in a library, they incorporated vintage card catalogs to hold guests’ escort cards. To keep her family close during the entire day, the bride had a family heirloom sewn into her dress.

Quilt squares were used as a guest book that would be sewn together by a family friend. Instead of a coffee table book which may or may not be read in years to come, the couple willhave a blanket of love to remind them of the special day they became one and were surrounded by those who love them most.

Guests were given a succulent to remember to always “Let Love Grow!” Every favor was carefully planned and executed for all to enjoy. We had such a wonderful time coordinating Ashley and Omead’s special Serra Plaza wedding, and we wish them all of the best.
